I manage software and AI projects with many stakeholders. Most of the job is finding the milestones that get missed and giving each one to a named person.
I have run e-commerce marketplaces that needed Ministry of Industry and Trade registration, enterprise AI platforms and internal operations systems. I worked in backend and DevOps before management, so I can read a team’s estimates instead of having to trust them. I am now a freelance project manager for the IDEAS Institute AI platform.

Led delivery of two AI products, SAORA.AI and AI Marketing, with a 5-person core team and a vendor. Prepared the leadership pack for the launch decision: an 18-month financial model, a 90-capability competitive comparison and the trial package unit economics. Advised leadership on the commercial team structure ahead of launch. Digitised payroll and HR on ERPNext, reconciled across three pay cycles.

Tiên Phong CDS
Managed a 20-person team across six functions, owned the annual IT budget and reported OKR, KPI and SLA to the C-level. Standardised CI/CD: 10 deploys a day, each from 60 down to 15 minutes; operating cost down 30% against the baseline; 99.9% uptime with zero P1 incidents for 2 consecutive quarters. As project manager, took SmartShop from its ministry filing to opening day.

IDEAS Institute
A freelance contract, run alongside my other roles. Defined and prioritised the AI platform MVP with stakeholders from 7+ departments. Wrote the Q3–Q4/2026 roadmap and the target architecture, and run AWS Singapore infrastructure and CI/CD for a 5-person team.

Led a 10-person R&D team (AI, backend, frontend, QA, DevOps). Turned AI Marketing from an internal R&D track into a monthly subscription SaaS with its first 2 paying clients, cutting content production time by over 30%. Brought the AI System platform to enterprise clients, lifting their operating productivity by over 50%. Negotiated a 20% annual cloud commitment discount with AWS and CMC Cloud.
12/2021 – 12/2024
Tiên Phong CDS
Designed and ran AWS and GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline), monitoring and disaster recovery. Hardened systems for Trung Nguyên International, Nutifood and Mutosi: 20 penetration-test findings closed before go-live, 1,000 concurrent users during sales campaigns, 30% yearly traffic growth with no downtime. Moved commerce and marketing backends to microservices on PHP Lumen and GraphQL, integrating Stripe, PayPal, MoMo, VNPay, Mailchimp, Accesstrade and OpenAI. Set code and API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting) and built product recommendation and fraud detection. Top contributor to the core repository shared by the commerce projects, with about 10,900 commits, twice the next person. Held the DevOps role alongside Backend Leader, then alongside R&D Manager until 12/2024.
